Depression Treatment

In my clinical work with individuals experiencing depression, I offer a structured and compassionate approach that integrates evidence-based modalities tailored to each client’s needs. I draw upon Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients clarify values and build psychological flexibility, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address maladaptive thought patterns and behavioral activation, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to explore the emotional underpinnings of depressive symptoms. Treatment often includes psychoeducation, mindfulness-based strategies, and collaborative goal-setting to foster insight and momentum. My aim is not only to reduce symptom severity, but to help clients reconnect with a sense of vitality, agency, and meaning. Ideal outcomes include improved mood regulation, increased engagement in daily life, and the development of sustainable coping strategies that support long-term emotional health.
