Trauma Informed Care

I approach trauma treatment through a structured, evidence-based framework that prioritizes safety, attunement, and psychological integration. I draw upon modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and trauma-informed cognitive behavioral interventions to support clients in processing distressing experiences, regulating affect, and restoring a coherent sense of self. Treatment is individualized and paced according to each client’s readiness, with attention to both neurobiological and relational dimensions of trauma. For couples, I integrate attachment-based strategies to address ruptures in trust, intimacy, and communication that often emerge in the aftermath of traumatic events. My clinical objectives include reducing symptom burden, enhancing emotional resilience, and facilitating post-traumatic growth. Ultimately, I aim to help clients reestablish agency, reconnect with meaning, and cultivate adaptive functioning across personal and relational domains.
